I bought this book because I was looking for a guide for making patterns from RTW. I have a terrible time fitting commercial patterns, and I have a few RTW pieces that would make great blocks, both to recreate the items and to use them to design other garments.

This is a must have for anyone who sews! I popped this in the DVD player, and was mesmerized. The quality is excellent and you can clearly see all the steps involved in all of the hand stitches, as well as all the techniques Claire demonstrates.
