The Barcelona dress is highly favored by many. This review is using the only the skirt and some of the yoke in..... making a skirt. With Spring coming, I needed a wild print springy-type skirt. I used a Challis from Denver Fabrics. Washed it first, of course.

I loved this book when I borrowed it from a friend. Little did I know that on Amazon I could get it soooo reasonable. Love that!
Stephanie has such style, that even for a boring sewer like me, she inspires to go further.

Jays Fabrics is a wonderland of fabric. They seem to specialize in more upscale fabric...lace, velvet, silk, etc. Many trims of elegant and ordinary nature. Boas and feathers, and bridal caps to decorate are found here.

This hot pad mat idea could be used for other items....I.E. pillow, wall hanging...etc.
I took a piece of art work which my grandaughter had painted, and copied it onto fabric...thru my color printer......kits are available at the quilt /notions area of Joann's.
