This little book from Linda Lee of The Sewing Workshop is the best $6.50 I have spent in a long time. In a few short pages Ms. Lee covers the how-tos of making perfect mitred corners in just about every situation.

This is the 5th year I have attended the Sewing Expo in Puyallup WA. I was very disappointed that over 50% of the vendors were quilting vendors. I traced off and cut out my 1st Burda WOF pattern. After carefully cutting out the pattern pieces from the pattern paper and laying them on the fabric. Pattern Description: Pyjama pants, shorts, v-neck top with a choice of long, short or sleeveless sleeves, and a zip front hoodie. The tops are edge finished with bias strips.

I actually discovered Londa last spring when I attended a Claire Schaeffer seminar at Londa's retail store. She has since closed the retail store to devote time to the website.
