Well I just finished SWAP over at Stitcher's Guild and thought I would share my favourite traveling jacket that is my "bridging piece" for the two part collections that is this year's challenge. I made it back in 2011 when I flew to visit family in New Zealand and just LOVE it.

Pattern Description:
Classic moto jacket, lined with asymmetrical diagonal front zipper, little zippered pockets at angles. Pattern has a collar which I omitted. Two part sleeve, curved front hem, princess seams.

Pattern Description:
A simple straight dress cut longer to allow for a drop blouson waistline with originally an elastic casing. Bias bound neckline and armholes. Side seam pockets. Gathers in neckline.

Pattern Description:
Burda Young Series fashion jeans. Fitted through hip and thigh flaring to approx 26 inches at hem. From model picture they looked mid rise to me. More details on rise later.
