This pattern is for a simple tunic with tie waistband. In the magazine, this top is made in voile. For my tunic I chose to use a well aged piece of silk crepe purchased in Hong Kong in 1991.

I would not have chosen this pattern from the pattern catalogue as the pictures are not the most inspiring, however, I saw this top made up at a Knitwit fashion show and was convinced this a top I would like in my wardrobe.
