I've just finished version 2 of this top, this time in double georgette.
The top is so much nicer made with the georgette. I didn't have to put the extra bar-tacks at the waist this time and the back just seems to float as I walk.

I was given a beautifully constructed skirt, that unfortunately didn't fit in the waist. When I started to unpick the waisband I discovered a new way to make a perfect narrow waistband.
Step 1: cut your waistband 2.5" (6cm) wide (I interfaced with a very light weight iron-on).
