I'm new to making FBAs, as my current body bears no similarity to the one I had at 35! A few months ago I made a Vogue pattern that had no darts and needed an FBA. This book is the best one I have found that beautifully describes most major designers' techniques and artistry. The photographs are wonderful and have given me several ideas to try on my garments.

PaperBack or HardBound?
I have the hardback; I don't think it's in softcover.
Does this book have clear illustrations or photographs?

My pattern organization system works well for me. I started it after puchasing a file cabinet from Hancock Fabrics when they went out of business.
I store each pattern envelope in a clear sleeve protector, which then goes into a separate ring binder for tops, pants, etc. The actual pattern pieces ...more... |
