Finished. Done. Installed the elastic today -- used a "Scunchi" hairband - both thicker elastic, comes in brown to match my hair, and has a nice thread cover and a silicone line along one side to prevent slippage.

Update - 03/29
Wore this dress to a wedding Saturday. It was extremely comfortable - did not bind, pull, or shift at all. Received many compliments on it. Overall one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever made. The only thing I think I'll change will be maybe, maybe, move the 1/2" shoulder ...more... |

Couple years back I bought 3m of a linen curtain panel from IKEA. White, with turq., pink, and green different woodblock type stampings.
Pre-washed and dried this three times to remove all shrinkage.
