Pattern Description: Straight-legged, corduroy pants with topstitched seams down the fronts of the legs. On me, the waist sits about 1.5" below the natural waist, which I like. They're not low rise, but they're not choking me around the middle either. I made a size 40.

UPDATE: a small update, because one of the comments (thanks everyone for the kind words!) reminded me of something I forgot to say: after I saw how stiff and uncooperative the fabric was, I took a sample piece and gave it a good, rigorous wash in warm water, then dried it in the dryer.
