Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Pretty close but I modified mine as hopefully you will see in the pictures.

This top was pretty simple to assemble but I did mine a bit different by running the top yoke on the bias and self-lining it rather than turning the armhole and neck edge under and stitching....and or using facings. Just wanted to say, I finally made this (dating all the way back from 2008)! Very nice comfortable style. Took a lot of fabric but I was able to get it layed out on less than the patttern called for.

I can't be the first person to think of this but here goes. Instead of layering the 2 fabrics on top of each other I sandwiched the lining inside the folded fashion fabric. I made sure my lining was pressed with no wrinkles and made sure the folds were up against each other, then I proceeded to pin ...more...
