Burda's website has some English-language tutorials, mostly on altering their patterns for fit. As of May 2008, they include:
- Shortening patterns
- The problem - large bust
- The problem - high waist
- The problem - narrow waist, wide hips

| Sewing Tip | 3/17/08 2:52 PM | Oh no, my embroidered linen has shrunk and puckered! (and how to fix it)
I always prewash fabrics before sewing, and the label on the beautiful embroidered linen said "wash cool," so I did--and it came out of the washer horribly shrunken and puckered. What to do!?
I like to iron linen while damp anyhow, so I took it to the ironing board. Yikes... it's an all-over patter...more... |
