Her pattern sizing is always confusing to me. I think I made a 6w based on my finished dimensions.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

A-line, slightly flared or flared skirt, above ankle, has waistband and side zipper. Narrow hem.
Pattern Sizing:
6-24
I cut a size 16 for my hips. I forgot to adjust the waist to close to an 18 and it's a bit snug.
