I LOVE my new Janome machine, which I got from Allbrands.com. Inexpensive, intuitive, smooth-running, quiet, a hard-working SM. I highly recommend it.

PJ bottoms for men and women
This is one of the most basic patterns to sew, but satisfying because you can whip them up in 30" if your fabric is prepped (and even faster with a serger). I used a printed cotton--soft for sleeping.
