Drafted from RTW - NA Mens Linen Nehru jacket
This is a copy of an old jacket I had which was starting to look rather shabby. It's in blue linen with a contrasting lining in pink rayon with pink Hong Kong finish on all visible seams (it's partially lined). Here is another view of the lining. Drafted from RTW - NA Men's Linen Jacket
This is an unlined, lightweight men's linen jacket. I drafted the pattern from an existing jacket which I couldn't take apart so it wasn't terribly easy to make the pattern. I added a back fishtail vent and added a Hong Kong finish to all of the internal seams. Most external seams are double stitche...more... |

The original dress (mentioning no store names ...) was unfortunately designed - a linen-backed silk fabric but because of the way the pattern was cut, having two points where sharply pointed ends met and were joined with a very heavy braided seam, the fabric couldn't take the strain of the heavy sea...more... |

I had an old housecoat which was really starting to show its age after about fifteen years. It was made from black almost demin weight cotton twill with some sort of polyester heavy black brocade. This is not strictly a pattern - I had a Derek Rose nightshirt which was nearly threadbare.
