I went here for the first time last week, wow! Not the cleanest place in the world, and my fabric touched the floor as it was measured and cut (maybe that is why one piece smells a bit dirty), but lots and lots of nice fabric at low prices. This store sells ribbon, and nothing but ribbon, but what a selection! Nothing embroidered or with a design, but row upon row of spools of solid color and metallic ribbons in various widths, colors, and materials.

This is not a sewing store, per se, but a Japanese bookstore, in Paris (France) with many, many Japanese sewing books.
The sewing books are in the section labeled "loisir creatif". They were all in Japanese. Some had actual patterns in them, others had illustrations and instructions on how to dra...more... |
