After a billion pairs of pockets on jeans wore through and repairing them just accelerated the problems, I came up with a way to LINE the pocket without having to remove it (or those pesky rivets), not to mention being unable to match the denim to anyone's satisfaction. Every summer I make myself a new dress. It has to be cool, it has to have pockets, it has to cover my unsightly bits, it has to be wash and wear, and usually ends up being inspired by some strange novelty fabric. I've gone on at great length on my blog about this, but summing up: even if you follow the directions and use a lightweight drapey fabric, you will still end up with a middy blouse that gaps in the front and is too wide over the shoulders.
