I was inspired by the book "Sew and Go Totes" by Kristine Poor. I had also recently received a Vera Bradley catalog. I chose a purse design that I liked from the catalog. This is the Shoulder Bag from the book "Sew and Go Totes" by Kristine Poor. Many of the projects in this book remind me of Vera Bradley bags. Even if you don't follow her instructions exactly, it gives some great tips on how to make a nice bag.
