Simplicity - 2497 Misses Dresses
Pattern Description:
Misses' dress in three lengths with neckline variations. I made view C, the cocktail length dress with a neck ruffle.
Pattern Sizing:
I used a 4,8,10.12. I cut a 10 for the top. I expanded the skirt past a size 12 to fit my hips which was easy since it's just a rectangle.

McCall's - 2401 Fitted sheath
Pattern Description:
From the envelope: Semi-fitted sheath dresses have front and back darts, back sipper closure , back slit and sleeve variations.
Pattern Sizing:
I used a 12-14-16.

I Made view B in a size 14 on top and between a 16 and an 18 on the bottom.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

I cut view D in a size 16 in the waist and an 18 in the hips.
