| Sewing Tip | 4/18/13 4:50 PM | Most tape measures are 5/8" wide! I had no idea, but most tape measures are 5/8" wide, making it so much easier to add standard commercial pattern seam allowances when tissue fitting or otherwise trying to mark patterns.

| Pattern Review | 11/15/12 1:23 AM | No Pattern Used - Scarves Scrappy Ends Scarf I started out with a bin of scraps and used water-soluble stabilizer as a base and cover to sew those scraps together into a scarf shape with free-motion embroidery. I was inspired by a scarf over on Leah Day's site.

| Pattern Review | 1/21/09 2:24 PM | No Pattern Used - no pattern used old t-shirts into new top I was browsing the Craftster site one day and saw some adorable reconstructed t-shirts. Normal t-shirts are compelling to buy or collect for their sentimental value, but boring and unflattering to wear.
