Taming the wrap skirt
I'm tired of wrap skirts that slide open as you sit down, or fly open in the wind. 43 colors for invisible skirt zippers and more? Yes!
I found an old zipper I had cut out and saved from a wool lined skirt and its stamped YKK. The skirt was well made with interfacing on each side of the cranberry zipper. I save them for reference. You can wash some silks
From Trends April/ May 86. I was in a thrift store yesterday looking for an older boucle skirt or jacket I could cut up for trim on a suit. I found this magazine with tips on silk from Janet Soyer. Silk, interfacing
Book: Sensational Silk by Gail Brown says to interface lighter weight silks. Also Gail says they do not need to be trimmed before fusing.
