Butterick - 3199 Misses' Tops
In need of some light coloured tops for winter, I set up a production line with my overlocker and cover-stitch machines. This is the third and last, made in a 1-way stretch polycotton knit exactly as before. Still not the perfect fabric for the slouchy collar, but better than the previous one. I p... more...

Kwik Sew - 3691 Tunic & Top
This time I made View B with all the adjustments made previously. My preference is for the collared version, but there was not enough fabric. I used a small piece of silk jacquard that's been in my stash for about eighteen years, purchased from the Chinese Emporium in Hong Kong This is a simple p... more...

About Me

I started sewing in my teens, as RTW didn't fit my shape and I loved that nobody else was wearing the same outfit as me. Now that I'm retired, my sewing is competing with all the other things I said... more
