My finished pieces were similar to the pattern envelope, with a few changes. I used 1/4" double fold bias tape instead of 1/2". I replaced the neck ties with fabric ties instead of bias tape ties.

This pattern is a period pattern that has some modifications to make it more suitable for current sewers. As a costume it is really wonderful, but if you are looking for something that is period correct, I suggest using a pattern from a company that specializes in period correct patterns.
