I made View D. It's just fine and exactly as pictured. It's easy to make if you take the time to do all the markings. And, a size 14 takes under a yard of 60" fabric.
Two small problems: they forgot to say how the top edge of the front should be finished for View D only; and, for Views C and D ...more... |

View A is a simple racer back dress with a tie holding the back tight. It went together as easy a pie. I wasn't happy with the cutting layout which is a fold in from both selvedges to the middle and place pattern pieces. The fabric I had in my stash was 59" wide. THERE IS A MISTAKE IN THE PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS. I couldn't put this together, so asked McCalls for help. Step 6 says to fold the sides together, right sides together. It should be wrong sides.
