Vogue Patterns - 2903 Original 1957 Design
This is a Vogue vintage reissue, a classic 1950's day dress. There is a summer version with short sleeves and a low wide neck, and a winter version with a slightly higher neckline and bracelet-length sleeves. Sewing nostalgia! Obviously there's not much point in reviewing this specific pattern. However I will say they used to print patterns much better in the old days -for instance the cutting line is a double fine line, rather than the heavy ones of modern patterns. Burda Plus Fashion Magazine - 02-2007-406 twist-front dress
How many ways did I get this wrong? This is the famous Burda twist top, lengthened into a dress, in plus sizes. I made size 44 (I have reluctantly realized I belong in this department now). Brother - Innov'is
