Non gaping wide low necklines.
Using a pattern which calls for a wide and low neckline can show off your cleavage but can also result in some not wanting looks from others if your bend your body.
A wide and low neckline will not hug your body if the garment is not tight fitting, like a top or blouse.

Buttonhole placement for jackets and blouses
If you are not sure which size button you need for your blouse or jacket, or if you want to use a different size than the pattern suggest, you can use a rule of thumb.
The size of the button will depend on the overlap (distance from center front till edge) you are using on your garment.
