To stop/conceal muffin top inside of low rise jeans or swim suits you can create a casing on the inside. You can stitch in the ditch or hand sew using a pick stitch. In jeans the top of the casing would go right under the waist band, which should be slightly widened.

To save time when sewing I mark all of the darts, markings, and matching points from the tissue on the pattern guide sheet. I mean the 1st page of directions with a picture of each piece and its name, right before the layout section. This way when i sew raveling fabrics i do not have to pull back ...more... |
