Simplicity - 1218 1944 Misses Housedress
I fell in love with this pattern on Etsy and I think it's pretty obvious why: POCKETS. The pattern dates to 1944, and it's a printed/perforated pattern. I've got to agree with New Vintage Lady: this type of pattern is awesome, as it combines the best of both printed and unprinted pattern pieces. The... more...

Simplicity - 2809 15 inch Doll Clothes and 6 1/

I like that it's a baby doll that really seems to be made for babies... more...

Simplicity - 3875 Misses Dress
Pattern Description: Pullover dress: it has an option to look more like the ubiquitous 'duro' but I chose the view with set in cap sleeves and a V neckline. Pattern Sizing: 6-8-10-12, I made a 10 (although I think it was an 8 in some places). Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern enve... more...

About Me

I finally decided to start sewing a couple of years ago, after growing up watching my mother make dresses for my sisters and me. My first machine was a Janome Sew Mini which could ONLY do a zig-zag an... more
