| Book Review | 8/13/07 6:27 PM | Adorn Adorn's target demographic skews younger than most mainstream sewing/crafts mags. This is, after all, "The Crafty Girl's Guide to Embellishing Life." It was refreshing to read the results of their reader survey -- MORE SEWING!

| Book Review | 8/13/07 6:11 PM | Altered Clothing When I looked the book up on amazon.com to get the author names, I immediately saw why I didn't care for this book. The subhead and parenthetical information say it all: Hip Fixes and Transformations with a Needle and Thread (Domestic Arts for Crafty Girls), And it's really not too hip at that.
