Baby Lock - BL3408 I am reviewing this machine as a user of mechanical vintage sewing machines so my opinions will reflect my personal sewing experiences. I am not used to modern machines with all the bells and whistles so while this machine is great for my needs, it may not be for everyone.

Vogue Patterns - V8139 Handbags I enjoy making bags and am always looking for cute patterns. I found this pattern in new condition at a thrift store for .55 so of course I couldn't pass it up.
I made View A which is a lined bag with an inside pocket, contrasting corners and flap with magnetic closure and self straps.

McCall's - 6579 Bags I chose this pattern for my DIL who wanted a "slouchy type purse with back pack straps". Without being clear on exactly what she wanted, this was the best I could find. I made View D of this pattern.

McCall's - M4951 Costumes I bought this pattern in a thrift store for .77 so it wasn't much of an investment. It is a generic "Super Hero" pattern, but view E resembles the Power Rangers. My 3-1/2 grandson wanted this costume for Halloween.

Singer - 201 What do I like about this machine? Quite simply it is the perfect sewing machine. I have some other fine machines like the Singer 15\\-91 and the Featherweight.
