My partner received this machine for her 21st, i think. It still sews perfectly. It is very portable and has the brilliant folding case design, with "on board" storage.
This is the version with zigzag.

I love this serger. It is my first ever and i got it after reading the rave reviews on pr. I bought mine on sale from Spotlight, a chain a bit like Joanne's i think, so no helpful demos or classes. This is a queen size duvet and 6 pillowcases made from two coordinating lengths of sheeting fabric which have been in my stash for nearly ten years. The fabric was 2.1 m wide so I did not need to piece for the duvet cover.
