* Update * I found a more flattering fabric and made a new skirt. I love it! The only problem with this fabric is that it should be lined. The denim picture is here.

Pattern Description: Tote bags. I made a southwestern book bag for my mother (to prove I’m actually sewing!), and a Valentine’s Day book bag for me. I also made a very tiny flowered bag that is way too small for a purse (for me anyway!) so I use it to hold things on my desk at school.

I finished this skirt this morning, and then took it for a test drive this afternoon. This marks the first time I have ever gone into a fabric store wearing something I bought there. Wahooo! :-)
