This is a summer maxi skirt I will thoroughly enjoy wearing - especially on those hot days. The "pattern" is only 2 panels, elastic waist and hemmed. This is an extremely easy pattern. The top can be made in 2 hours max. It always takes me longer cause I don't just get to sit and sew - life interferes :) I made this for the summer, moving my son to Washington state and his car doesn't have an air conditioner, hence, really cool summer tops.
