I had one yard of 36" wide silk. I really wanted to make a bias top and this was the perfect solution.
The model I chose has a converging bias front with a center seam. Perfect for the drape I needed for this silk metallic sheer. The back is cut straight of grain.

This is a great pattern with many wearable styles. For now, I've chosen to make the sleek and simple pants without pockets.
Sizes run from 10 to 28W
I am very happy with how the pants were represented on the pattern envelope.
The instructions came with large drawings and simple construction.

Once I got the technique of sewing the rayon knit perfected, I totally enjoyed making this pattern. I used fusible twill tape for the hems and they sewed like a dream.
The fabric type is super stretchy so I had to cut carefully. By handling the garment carefully the seams draped perfectly.

I loved sewing this one. It has a deep waistband that is really flattering. I used a heavy cotton print from Amy Butler that has a subtle twill weave. Top has three collar types and can be made in soft and structured fabric. I made the colorless version in a cream damask shirting and also a the bow neck style in a print crepe de chine silk. The pattern was very easy to construct without darts and with easy hemming.
