Hi,
I found an inexpensive and fast replacement for a wooden point presser
that helps me press out a neat collar. I use my sleeve board, and when I
come to the points of the collar, I hold a wooden chopstick on the board,

I really enjoyed making jeans from this pattern and have made 4 pairs now. Jeans are no big deal but I did find the buttonhole and beltloops to require a little extra attention and fuss. I modified the belt loops in the pattern so I would be sewing through 5-6 layers as opposed to the 7-8 you end up...more... |
