Invisible zipper foot for making piping

stabilizing presser foot on carpeting.
My sewing room has old ugly thick carpeting. Someday when I have time AND money, it will be replaced. In the meantime, I make due and am grateful I have a sewing room. triple stitch for hemming jeans
I have been lucky enough to have a source for jeans thread for hemming jeans in the usual orange and dark blue. However, my daughter's new jeans had more of a gold thread. Paint brush for cleaning serger/bobbin race
I have always been less than pleased with the wimpy plastic brush that comes with sewing machine or serger.
