|After reading about Day 1 at the PR Weekend you must be wondering, "Could it get any better?" Believe it or not, it did! Here's what happened...
We gathered at the conference center at 9:00 where we started off with recognition ribbons.
These categories and participants were chosen from the members attending.

The 10 years slideshow was next: PR weekends over the years, Best Patterns, Best Reviews and so much more... I'll post the slideshow online soon so you can enjoy it as well.
We ended the slideshow to set the stage for our guest speaker. Angela Wolf who took us on yet another journey on how she got started with her custom couture business. She passed on some of her wonderful jackets so we could inspect and learn.
How time flew we didn't even realize. Kudos to Angela for sharing her knowledge with us. But wait... its not over. After a lunch break we were back in the conference room for yet another presentation by Angela. We learned how easy it is to create our own custom dyed fabrics. We also announced Angela's new online class at the PR weekend. Sign up now!
Two lucky members got free class giveaways, and many others got free scissors, courtesy of Kai Scissors.
Towards the end of the evening we shopped for patterns! well we just took 'em. Many generous PR members brought patterns to give away. What a treat! I guess I am not the only pattern-o-holic!
Our host, Tina surprized us with her corn outfit! I am not the only one who'll say this. The corn outfit made my day! When asked, Tina admitted to spending more than 10 hours on that outfit one halloween. Goes on to show sky is the limit to creativity.
We ended Saturday with announcing the winners of the Show your PR Love contest,
many other fun contests and prizes
and, of course, pizza and cake! After all, it was a birthday party!
We laughed, we did show and tell, we made new friends, and we made plans for next year's PR Weekend. Vote here for next year's city.
Now, do you agree? Was this the best PR Weekend or what? Will you attend next year's PR Weekend? Will you attend PR's Birthday Dinner in MA this November?
Next up... Proclamation to PatternReview by the Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon.
