PR Weekend Portland - May 15th, 16th, 17th

Finally the event we all anxiously wait for all year long. PR Weekend!

Like every year, this year's PR Weekend promises to be a fun filled weekend with fun activities, fabulous shopping and great food.

PR Weekend is a 2 day weekend get away for PatternReview members in an effort to bring the community closer and to support local sewing businesses. This will be our 6th annual event.

We are exploring the City of Portland, OR this year. Voted as the "Greenest City" in the US in 2008, what better place to hang out than here. Portland also has a great line up of fabric stores which draws fashionistas from all around the world. And don't forget, it is also the home of Palmer Pletsch - Pati Palmer i.e. The Fit Guru. Lucky for us, Pati has made plenty of time for her PatternReview.com fans. Read on to find out what has been planned for you!

Monarch Hotel

The Monarch Hotel & Conference Center (monarchhotel.cc) is the official PR Weekend venue this year. Located just 15 minutes away from the PDX airport and 20 minutes from downtown Portland, this hotel comes highly recommended by Pati Palmer and is bound to be a comfortable experience for all of us. We have reserved a block of rooms with a special rate just for PR Weekend Attendees at only $89/night for a double room. More information will be provided after you register.

2:00 - 3:30 It's EASY to Make Great Fitting Clothing!

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch Break

3:30 - 4:30 Book Signing and chat with Pati. Pati will also be bringing some of the P&P products with her and they will be available for sale after the seminars.

6:00 Dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory, just a short walk from the PR Weekend Venue.

8:30 - 10:00 Social in Monarch Hotel Conference Room

Saturday May 16th

8:00 Bus Pickup at Monarch Hotel for Fabric Shopping
8:30 - 5:00 Fabric Shopping guided by local PatternReview Volunteers

5:00 Back at the Hotel
7:00 Hotel Hospitality Suite for Pizza Dinner and Fabric Show and Tell
