Workout wear doesn't have to be boring. And our participants proved that. In our first ever Activewear contest, we asked them to create clothing for active situation. From bathing suits to cross country skiing gear, the members really had fun creating these looks.
Let's meet the winners!
First Prize: arianamaniacs For Burda Magazine: 02-2004-110 Jacket

Remember our Top 10 contest winner last year? Well she did it again. She needed a jacket for training for Track & Field. Disappointed by the RTW choices, she decided to take matters in her own hands. She altered the pattern to reduce the height of the stand collar. She also added detachable hood and patch pockets.
The decision to choose black over silver quilted fabric didn't come easy but in the end practicality won
Arianamaniacs loves her jacket and recommends this pattern to others. | Second Prize: sewcrazee For Jalie 2683 - Figure Skating Dress

Stretch velvet was used with a contrasting lycra fabric with daisy print for this cute little figure skating dress. sewcrazee liked the fact that the dress was full coverage because she wanted her nieces to be warm while skating. She added little lycra floral print cuffs to match the skirt. She also made a pink velvet headband. Adorable isnt it? |
