Nicole Mallalieu is the founder of Nicole Mallalieu Design. She first picked up a needle at the age of three and has been sewing and designing ever since. She is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion and has worked in Australia, England and Ireland, making clothing, hats, bags and furnishings.

She creates one-of-a-kind, hand-finished bags and hats, items that she has produced for exhibitions, commissions and boutiques, as well as functional accessories for the international commercial market. Nicole designs and manufactures bag patterns at her studio in addition to teaching courses and workshops in pattern-making, sewing and bag-making. She has written articles for Stitches, Get Creative, and Homespun.

Nicole held a popular workshop at the recent PR Weekend Down Under.
