Romantic long and flowing dress features a U shaped neckline, semi-fitted bodice with soft V shaped waistline with darts in front & back. The 3/4 circle skirt has a V shaped hem. The pattern includes long and short sleeve options. Sewing time 2 1/2 hours.
Suggested Fabric:View A & B: Soft draping fabrics only. Rayon sheer gauze or crepe. Fine wool gauze or crepe.

I cannot believe I have not written a review of this dress pattern. I have made this dress....per the pattern, three times. Using the bodice as just a top, twice (best pajamas ever!) Modifying the bodice, twice more. And I have some beautiful blue rayon that is going towards it again!

Easy & Great for Beginners
Another pattern I've had forever and wanted to try. I've had the pattern for at least two, maybe even up to 4 years. It is one of those 'hang around the pool on the weekend' kind of dresses.

Recommend, with Modifications
The Barcelona dress is highly favored by many. This review is using the only the skirt and some of the yoke in..... making a skirt. With Spring coming, I needed a wild print springy-type skirt. I used a Challis from Denver Fabrics. Washed it first, of course.
