Materials List for the Weekender Travel Bag
  • 1 5/8 yards of 44" wide heavyweight Home Decorator cotton for the Exterior of bag (allow extra for matching or centering the print on your fabric)
  • 2 1/4 yards of 44" wide coordinating heavyweight Home Decorator cotton for the Lining, Handles and bias cut cord cover
  • 1 1/4 yards of 22" wide heavyweight sew-in interfacing
  • 2 1/4 yards of 21" wide Timtex or a similar extra-heavy stabilizer
  • 1 sheet of Dritz 12" wide x 18" Heavy Duty Template Plastic (found with the quilting supplies)
  • 5 yards of 1/4" cotton cording (found in the home decorating department of most stores)
  • 30" coordinating plastic or metal teeth heavyweight zipper (non separating)
  • 1 spool of coordinating thread

Finished Dimensions for the Weekender Travel Bag:
14" wide across the top of the bag and 17" wide across the bottom of the bag by 14 1/2" tall x 7 1/2" deep
