A collection of three modern pillow silhouettes perfect for turning your nest into a stylish retreat.

Materials List for the Pieced Envelope Pillow
  • 1/4 yard of 44" wide mid- to heavyweight cotton print for the Narrow End Panel (Panel A)
  • 3/8 yard of 44" wide mid- to heavyweight coordinating cotton print for the Middle Panel (Panel B)
  • 3/8 yard of 44" wide mid- to heavyweight coordinating cotton print for the Large End Panel (Panel C)
  • 1/2 yard of 44" wide mid- to heavyweight coordinating cotton print for the Back Panel
  • 3/4 yard of 44" wide cotton muslin for the Pillow Form
  • 2 - 8 oz. bags of polyester fiberfill (we used Fairfield's "Soft Touch Poly-fil Supreme")
  • 1 spool of coordinating thread

Finished Size for the Pieced Envelope Pillow:
24" wide x 16" long

Materials List for the Zinnia Pillow
For a 14" Round Pillow:
  • 1/2 yard of 44" light to mid-weight cotton fabric for the Pillow Cover
  • 3/4 yard of 44" light to mid-weight coordinating cotton fabric for the Zinnia Petals
  • 3/4 yard of heavyweight sew-in interfacing for the Zinnia Petals
  • 2- 1 1/2" buttons to cover for the center of the Zinnia Flower (They usually come 2 buttons per kit)
  • 1- 14" round Pillow Form (we used Fairfield's "Soft Touch" form)
  • Carpet or upholstery thread
  • 1 spool of coordinating thread

OR to make your own pillow form you will need:
  • 1/2 yard of 44" wide cotton muslin
  • 1 1/2 - 8oz. bags of polyester fiberfill (we used Fairfield's "Soft Touch Poly-fil Supreme")

For a 24" Round Pillow:
  • 1 1/2 yards of 44" wide light to mid-weight cotton fabric for the Pillow Cover
  • 1 1/2 yards of 44" wide light to mid-weight coordinating cotton fabric for the Zinnia Petals
  • 2 yards of heavyweight sew-in interfacing for the Zinnia Petals
  • 1 1/2 yards of 44" wide cotton muslin for the Pillow Form (pillow forms are not available for this size)
  • 4 - 8oz. bags of polyester fiberfill (we used Fairfield's "Soft Touch Poly-fil Supreme")
  • 2 - 2 1/2" buttons to cover for the center of the Zinnia Flower (They usually come 1 button per kit)
  • Carpet or upholstery thread
  • 1 spool of coordinating thread

Finished Size for the Zinnia Pillow:
Small Zinnia Pillow: 14" round
Large Zinnia Pillow: 24" round

Materials List for the Modern Bolster Pillow
  • 1 1/8 yard of 44" wide mid- to heavyweight cotton fabric for the Bolster
  • 1 1/8 yard of 44" wide cotton muslin for the Pillow Form
  • 22" or 24" coordinating nylon zipper
  • 4 - 8oz. bags of polyester fiberfill (we used Fairfield's "Soft Touch Poly-fil Supreme")
  • 1 spool of coordinating thread

Finished Size for the Modern Bolster Pillow:
38" wide x 11" high x 4" deep
