McCall's 4887 Chidren's Fairy Costumes
Pullover dress has shoulder straps and stitched hem; lined vest has waist seam, hook and eye front closing, purchased trim and VelcroŽ in back to attach wings; vests B, C have ribbon belt; wings are sheer with wire inserted into casings to maintain shape; multi-layered skirt, below mid-knee or full length, has elasticized waist and unfinished hems; skirts C, D have shaped hemlines.

Recommend, with Modifications
Pattern Description:
Girls Fairy costumes - dress, skirt, vest and wings. I made skirt view "C" (the shorter petal skirt) and vest "A" (without the ribbon tie)
Pattern Sizing:
Children's 2-3-4-5. I made size 3 with modifications noted below for my tall and skinny (then) 3 year old.

Pattern Description: Children's Fairy costume
Pattern Sizing:2 - 5 I made size 2. My granddaughter is 2 1/2 years old, and average size. The size 2 was plenty big enough, and was really long on her. I'll have to cut some of the bottom layer of tulle off so she won't trip on it.
