Description:View A is a 26-281/2 back length jacket with a four button closure and a deep V front. Bust ease is 3, hip ease is 5. View B is a 22-241/2 back length jacket with a 4 button closure and a higher V front. Bust ease is 3, hip ease is 2. Cover jacket shown with 11/4 buttons.
Suggested Fabric:Wool, rayon, velvet, raw silk, microfiber, linen, double knits, fleece, boucle, and blends.
Notions: 1 pair shoulder pads measuring 6 x 31/2 x 5/8 (15 x 9 x 1.5 cm). 1 strip of Velcro 5 (12 cm). 4 buttons measuring 7/8 (cover jacket shown with 11/4 buttons).

Pattern Description: Garbo jacket comes in two lengths. I made the shorter. As is typical with LH designs, there are no darts
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, but I fashioned my jacket after an example of one I saw in her shop.

Pattern OK, but did NOT work for Me
I finally got around to making the longer version of this jacket, in a triacetate/poly/lycra waffle-weave blend from Fabric Mart. I like this *much* better than the other version. Something about the proportions makes it better suited to my figure than the short one.
