Easy & Great for Beginners
The pattern worked fine for this beginner--but the instructions were not so beginner-friendly. So I'm adding a few suggestions below.

McCall 2590 is a classic dressy-dress pattern for girls (sizes 3-14). It can be interpreted endlessly!
