Textile Studio Sewing Pattern Basic Pant # 1001
|
This elegant pull-on pant has darts in the back that eliminate bulk in the hip area to provide a sleek fit not seen in most pull-on pants. Pattern includes a ready-to-wear elastic band treatment and invisible side seam pocket. Sewing time 2 1/2 hours.
Suggested Fabric:For best results use a soft drapey fabric. Rayons are preferred but you may use silk or soft wools. Allow extra fabric to match plaids or stripes, for shrinkage if pre-washing and for lengthening.
Notions:3/4 yd of 1 1/2" non roll elastic that expands twice its length, thread.
