My son's girlfriend wanted a pair of dragon pillowcases when she saw this fabric in my stash but she wasn't sure if the pillows were queen or standard sized. So I cut these to fit both. They're a little big for standard, but just fits without flapping around on a queen sized pillow.

Easy & Great for Beginners Pattern Description:
Not really a pattern, but I had basic directions from the Conkerr Cancer organization. You need 1/3 yard for the border and 3/4 yard for the main pillowcase.
Pattern Sizing:
Standard size pillowcase.

Easy & Great for Beginners Pillowcases, plain main fabric, patterned band and a narrow accent fabric inserted between the two.
I've done this before with directions from the local quilt shop, to have totally enclosed seams... but I can't find the directions or remember how to do it. So I just winged it on these cases... t more... |
