Straight, lined skirt with "wave" seaming and bottom flounce cut on the bias. Side invisible zipper and waist finished with petersham ribbon. The waistline sits 4cms below the narrowest part of the waist.

EDIT: I've added a picture of me wearing the skirt. Not the best one, but to be honest, the ones Dh took weren't doing the skirt much justice either!
