photo My DS girlfriend just had a birthday. She's kind of arsty crafty so I thought I'd make her a purse. I had some quilted, sequined fabric left over from a coat I made a few years ago, just waiting for the right project. I had found the glitter vinyl last year at a mill sale. I didn't use a pattern.

No commercial pattern was used. This is my own original patterm. It consists of Cotton fabric, which was made into bias strips, rolled and pressed. These were attached over a base constructed of Timtex sandwiched between cotton. I tried to find fabric that would look like basketweave when each strip
