Amy Butler Gum Drop Pillows
Easy to make, yet dramatic in style. Large, comfy and cool
pillows and even larger ottoman sizes. Eye candy for your home!
Materials List
FOR THE 24" GUM DROP PILLOW / OTTOMAN
Allow extra yardage for centering or matching a design on your fabric.
For 44” wide light to mid-weight fabric OR 54” heavier Home Dec fabric
- If using one fabric - 2 1/4 yards for the Main and Top Panels
OR
- If using 2 coordinating fabrics - 1 1/8 yards of each fabric for the Main Panels
- 10” x 10” piece of a 3rd coordinating fabric for the Top Panel
PLUS
- 10 12 oz. bags of Nature-fil®
(This is a all natural premium fiberfill from Fairfield)
- 10” x 10” piece of lightweight sew-in interfacing
- 1 spool of coordinating all-purpose thread
(We use Coats Dual Duty Plus®)
Finished size: 24” wide x 12” tall
FOR THE 18" GUM DROP PILLOW

Pattern Description: The pattern is for two sizes, 18 or 24 inch pillows, firmly stuffed for extra seating and general home decor. Look like hassocks.

Easy & Great for Beginners
Pattern Description: Ottoman-sized octagonal pillows.
Pattern Sizing: Two sizes: 18" and 24" in diameter.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Mostly. Not quite as puffy.

Pattern Description: I won't copy everything from the pattern sleeve... basically, fabric ottomans in two sizes. Each size has only two pattern pieces.
